Come see what we are all about

Specifically our displays offer insight into the lives, businesses and way of life of the pioneers that settled the Millston, Knapp, Shamrock and Manchester areas. The Museum houses several family albums, photos and family histories of the area as well as a resource library for the outlying areas and their cemeteries. All artifacts on display in the museum are specific to the area and have been collected and donated by local families over the last 30 years. We have tax and assessment records and school district records for Millston and Knapp Townships that start when the Townships were created.

DON'T MISS THIS AUCTION. SO MUCH LOCAL HISTORY!!! ALL PROCEEDS TO BENEFIT THE MUSEUM!!
Stuart and Faye (Drescher) Pedersen of the Knapp and Warrens areas were so incredibly generous to the communities they loved and called home. They supported our museum from its inception and their legacy of preserving history will continue on with one last fantastic act of kindness. We recently discovered that they wanted our museum as a final wish to receive many historical donations as well as the proceeds from their estate auction. "WOW" is not a big enough word to express our gratitude.
Please click the link below and get a beautiful piece of local history. Bidding just opened at 6pm today July 12, 2026 and ends July 27th, 2026. Almost all of the pieces were from the Drescher farm that was located on the Knapp four corners. Other items were from the Pedersen family in Warrens. Also, Mr. David Moseley a friend of the Pedersens heard what they had done and included a few of his pieces as well. Please consider bidding on these one of kind treasures. Thank you!!
